What's on the British Pathe website?
|
British Pathe provided a weekly newsreel which appeared in every cinema from 1920 to the mid 1960s. They have digitised these news stories to provide a unique online resource covering all manner of topics from sport to fashion, politics to war. The site has over 3,500 digitised video clips and nearly 12m stills, all downloadable in high-resolution format at no cost if you are connected to the London Grid for Learning. |
